A humidity sensor module that measures relative humidity from 0 to 100%.
It outputs an analog signal from 0 - 5 volts corresponding to the percentage of humidity in the air.

It can be used to measure the humidity in the air and combined with other littlebits modules to turn on or off controls to correct the situation or send you alerts.

Great idea! I would like to use something like this to drive a relay that would shut my humidifier on and off to control the room to a specific RH.

I like it :) It could be useful as part of a smart home monitoring device, and as a tool for science educators. Good luck!

Also could be used to automate environment conditions within animal habitats.

It's fantastic idea you have here for environmental measurements, in fact I'm currently working with a project for a littleBits challenge and this is exactly what I need to make it work perfectly!! Please let me know of any progress on your bit or perhaps any tips to build my own for now, thanks. :D

Do you have any sketches for how you made your 8bit DAC and the module?

Humidity sensor is a must for school science projects

What is the purpose of all the resistors on there? Is there an IC or MCU somewhere underneath? Any more detail would be great so others can learn how you built this. Thank you!
