Announcing the #AnimatronicsChallenge Winners!

By ad min, at littleBits
inchworm We want to give a special shoutout to everyone who participated in February’s Animatronics Challenge! We saw a full-spectrum of electronic creatures and characters, including Minions, a dancing ballerina, Kung-Fu panda, Snoopy, peacock, crocodile, automatic drum beater, Poseidona coffee mate box singing Adele and Donald Trump. We’d also like to give a special thanks to Joey Mazzarino, Alex Pikkert and Claire O’ Brien for taking the time to review all submissions and choose the winners. The judges have made their final decisions and it’s time to announce the two winners.

Pete the Circuitboard Peacock

Pete the Peacock has quite the attitude with its walk, strut, and call out in his very confusing peacock language. Inventor Mya explains how it works in the video below. large_89ce7d81-ca7b-4a9a-ac63-e0fc6689dd3c

Growling Crocodile

This crocodile is a fierce creature, with its sharp teeth, dark roar and swishing tail. To view all of the projects from the Animatronics Challenge, visit the littleBits Invention Page. Be sure to heart and comment on your favorite projects!
