Student Combines littleBits and Lego in Two Projects April 15, 2013

We’re constantly inspired by the littleBits projects created all over the world. This weekend, Chow Yu Hin posted the following videos on Facebook. One of the videos features an intricate wind turbine and the other, a vibrant sound machine. The most impressive part of both videos is how quickly he assembles the projects.

littleBits Press Round-Up March 26, 2013

Forbes echoed a sentiment held by many that littleBits is the new LEGOS, in an article they published earlier this month. Contributor Dan Reich discusses how “the new building blocks of the 21st century are based on electrical circuits. Some may argue that we are beyond hardware and that the real building blocks are knowing how to code and how to program, but I believe that the next wave of true innovation will come from the intersection of new hardware and new software. Not software alone.”

Bits in the Classroom February 22, 2013
