Great news makers, we’ve partnered with the Imagination Foundation for the 3rd annual Cardboard Challenge. Last year, this global making event bought together over 90K participants from 49 countries!

“Inspired by the short film, ‘Caine’s Arcade,’ the Global Cardboard Challenge is an annual event presented by the Imagination Foundation that celebrates child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. This September, kids of all ages are invited to build anything they can dream up using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination. Then on Saturday, October 11th, 2014, communities will come together to play!”

As an added bonus, littleBits is providing Kits to over 30 of the Imagination Foundation Chapters to help spark creativity and learning through play. You can read the press release on the Imagination Foundation blog for more information.

What will you make with a little bit of cardboard and creativity? Register your Cardboard Challenge event today and start making! Share pictures, video and stories from your Cardboard Challenge using #cardboardchallenge on Twitter and other social media platforms.
