Over the weekend, Portes Ouvertes Design Montreal took place. This event occurs every two years during the first weekend of May as a part of the UNESCO Cities Of Design effort. During the event, Montréal-based designers and architects open their doors to invite the general public to discover and discuss their work and inspire more creativity. Our friends at Daily Tous Les Jours, a design firm, gave visitors the opportunity to go beyond discussion and set-up a space for kids to create projects with littleBits and craft materials. They also set-up a workshop entitled ifyesthenwhat to introduce the public to the basics of programming. Below is our favorite project from the weekend, Giraf Spring Ride.
