Project of the Week: HelloRun Controller

By Emily Tuteur

With the Arduino module and the Brick Adapter, Matt Richardson created a custom LEGO game controller for HelloRun.

The Arduino module is plugged into the computer and the code listens for ON signals from two roller switches that are activated by moving a LEGO brick. It then sends the appropriate key press to control the game. This game is typically operated by using only the up and down keys on your keyboard, so with Matt’s interface, the roller switches take the place of the keys and make for a more engaging interface. Make this today!
