Prototyping with littleBits: Jeremy Blum

By admin

We’ve all been there. You’ve checked the forecast, your mom talked you about it the night before, the air is muggy. It’s going to rain. Yet, you have managed to forget the umbrella. Enter Jeremy Blum. He’s a Google Astronaut, educator and a well known name in the maker community. His tutorials on Arduino are actually one of the teaching tools for programming we’ve used at littleBits!

Jeremy set out to solve the forgetful umbrella problem by using littleBits to not only blink an umbrella holder when the forecast is rainy, but to text you if you walked out the door without it. Check out the video for more.
