Rosie Revere, Engineer is the perfect book to read with your budding inventor

By admin

Do you have a little one who is growing into a curious and creative engineer? Or, perhaps your child is inspired by his or her older siblings, who are already making wireless rovers and door alarms. Whatever the case may be, we recently discovered this engaging and touching book Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beaty, and love it too much to not share.

The story follows our protagonist, Rosie, an imaginative young woman with a big dream. What is her dream? She has a huge passion for inventing, so Rosie wants to become an engineer. When others see discarded parts and clutter, Rosie sees endless opportunities. She sees the chance to make something wonderful and life-changing.

In Rosie’s world, anything is possible. She makes dog dispensers and helium pants! Her creative spirit and drive remind us of our own dynamic and innovative community. And what’s even more important in this story is that Rosie finds herself and her sense of confidence by tinkering and designing. Through this story, the protagonist learns that failure is just as important as success. If anything, it’s essential. We think this is a powerful and important lesson for any young engineer to learn.
