Meet the Inventor

Noah & Luke Magill

unknown

Where are you based?
Orlando Florida

How would you describe yourself in six words or less?
Clever, funny, creative, and inventive.

What was your littleBits “a-ha!” moment? The moment you were bitten by the littleBits bug.
We discovered little bits when a friend of Luke’s used litteBits on his school project. Luke got some from Christmas, and that’s when we realized the possibility of these Bits. It was nice to have convenient size electronic building blocks, and a huge plus that no soldering was required. We started brainstorming and came up with hundreds of ideas.

When starting a littleBits project, what does your design and video process look like?
We don’t have a solid plan, but usually I (Noah), come up with a rough idea, and after that, Luke usually takes over and puts the plan to action. After we’ve created whatever we are making, I will make a movie (created by iMovie) and add sound effects, crop the film, and add titles. Our motto is “Just go for it”.

How has littleBits impacted you creatively?
Also we have tried many electronic building blocks, but littleBits are the best because you can actually make inventions out of them.

What do you plan on inventing next?
Our next big invention is going to be a smart hat. It will be the most complicated project we’ve created, and uses more than 15 plus bits. It will be really cool.
