Last week, the littleBits team represented at Design Exchange Boston (DxB) with a workshop and talk. The two-day design and innovation conference was dedicated to celebrating the impact of design and explored the ideas, work, and strategies that are currently shaping our culture. One of the conference themes was #Startexperimenting, so it was a perfect fit for littleBits!
The littleBits prototyping workshop, lead by our very own David Sharp, brought together designers from all different backgrounds to explore littleBits. We loved seeing the combinations of synth modules and cloudBits, and helping people explore (and enjoy) using hardware!
On the main stage, Community and Program Manager Erin Mulcahy, spoke about making with electronics and encouraged audience members to join the hardware revolution; whether it be through creating 4 foot mechanical sharks, reinventing instruments, building IoT solutions to your own unique problems, or even designing your own modules.
Other highlights included talks by Spotify’s Art Director Tobias van Schneider, a BOSE build speaker workshop and presentations by the Founders of Tough Mudder. Congrats to DXB on a great event and thanks for having us!
