Project of the Week: The Front Door Skeleton That Comes Alive

Make this!

October 15, 2014

Trick-or-treaters beware! This sound activated skeleton, created by DQ, is the perfect prop to hang on your front door and spook unsuspecting visitors. When someone knocks on the door, the sound trigger is activated, making the skeleton come alive with blinking LED eyes and a glowing light wire body. To prolong the interaction, DQ used a timeout module.

We are loving the Halloween project posts. Keep ’em up! Take some inspiration from DQ to enhance your Halloween costume, haunted house, or pumpkin this year.

Share with us your Halloween hacks under the hashtag #trickswithbits on instagram and our project page for a chance every week to win one of our brand new Halloween kits to DIY-for.
