Begin by building your circuit. Attach the Bits in the following order: power + dimmer + bargraph
Make a timetable according to your schedule. We recommend using a spreadsheet program to make it easier. The height of each cell should be 5mm (3/16inch) the width should be about 20mm (3/4inch). The background of the cell should be black while the text should be white.
Print and cut out your table, leaving a tiny 5mm margin all the way around it.
Glue the timetable to blank white computer paper. Make sure the text is facing inward so you do not see anything on the outside. By doing this, certain words will appear on the table only when a light is on underneath.
Make a frame with construction paper. Cut out each column so as to group classes into 5 weekdays. Glue the construction paper frame to the timetable.
Fold the margin on the top and bottom edges and adjust the timetables to fit the bargraph.
If you feel like each led light on the bargraph defuses too much, and the letters are not lit up clearly, try making a light dividing slit. Cut construction paper into 20mm x 25mm ( the size of the bargraph). Mark where each LED goes on it and cut it off. Attach it on the bargraph, with transparent tape.
Attach the circuit to your locker, pencil case, or desk and countdown the classes until schools out!
