An Arduino powered synth that maps a slider (or other input) to 5 different musical scales (major, minor, pentatonic, blues, phrygian), making it easy to jam and sound pretty good without having to learn any scales or music theory.

How To Make It

1

USB Power -> Slide Dimmer -> Arduino A0

2

Power -> Dimmer -> Arduino A1

3

Arduino D5 -> Button -> Oscillator -> Speaker

4

Arduino D9 -> Bargraph

5

Upload the attached code to the Arduino using a USB cable

6

Use the Dimmer to select a scale (major, minor, pentatonic, blues, phrygian)

7

Use the Slide Dimmer to select a note

8

Press the Button to play the note

9
