We wanted to create a life size animal that glowed and moved. We came up with the idea of the glowing polar dog.
We took a lot of cardboard and built a structure that looked like a dog but that could hide the bits from view. We designed him so that the tail would wag and the face would glow. Therefore, we used tissue paper on the face so that the light would shine through.
We assembled the servo for the tail and attached it to cone size paper so that the tail would wag. Then, we hid the bits inside his "face" after we drew on his eyes and mouth so that they would make his face glow.
