Halloween Hack - Group 1 Motion

Students were provided with a variety of Halloween-themed items. They were given a choice of which group they wanted to join: Motion, Light, Motion & Light. Working collaboratively with the other students that made the same selection, students selected the items they wanted to work with and then began inventing!

This is one of the two motion groups. They selected a mini pumpkin and witch hat. Their "hack" was to move it using their littleBits.

Duration: 35 minutes

How To Make It

Students used twist ties to attach the two mounting plates.

Using the power littleBits, they were able to connect the boards even more. (You might need to use another method for a more secure attachment.)

Students placed the pumpkin and hat on the unit to move.
