Harmonizing Guitars

Create an electric or acoustic guitar with amazing sounds uploaded from the Code Kit!

Duration: 2-3 hours

How To Make It

Find guitar images online to freehand draw, trace from projected image onto board, or draw own outline.

Paint design onto guitar outline on poster board. Poster board is sturdy enough to hold all the bits!

Cut out guitar from poster board. Use hole punch to make holes to thread light wire through.

Feed lightwire through multiple times, showing on the front. Leave enough wire in the back to be able to connect to the attached bits.

Remix and upload code by changing the octave pitch and images to letters of notes.

Add bits and attach to the back. Use slide dimmer to make varying sounds play. Reduce volume on speaker. Turn off the lights to see light wire illuminate!
