A wonderful moving and lighting bauble in my christmas tree !
Thank you Littlebits !

Using your TV remote will make the bauble alive !

Duration: 3 hrs.

How To Make It

Making the bauble Using a clear plastic ball with a diameter of 100 mm makes it very easy to mount the IR trigger, the bargraph and the servo inside. Connect a wire to the IR trigger and let one side partly stick out of the plastic ball.

The bauble

Prepare the servo Use a small servo arm and mount 3 M6 bolts on this arm. This will make the bauble shake when the servo is activated.

The power supply Connect a power bit to the wire bit and secure it with a shoe. I used a backup-battery, normally used for smartphones to supply the power. This battery has a capacity of 1800 mAh and lasts longer than a normal battery.

Glue some golden stars and little plastic rhinestones on the outside, put the bauble in your christmas tree and enjoy !
Every time you use your TV remote the bauble becomes alive !
