Using the littleBits Gizmos and Gadgets kit you can make a Halloween version of the Rotolamp. Add a skull hologram on the top to give a spookier look on the wall. 

Duration: 1 hour to build

How To Make It


Assemble the Rotolamp Follow the instructions for the Rotolamp on page 17 from your littleBits Gizmos & Gadgets Kit.

Add the background Using a clear plastic like paper, print out some “spooky” pictures. Then take the Rotolamp sleeve off and tape the plastic on to it. Place it back onto the Rotolamp circuit.

Making the hologram Use the same type of paper to print out four skulls and a triangular prism. Put the prism on top of the skull pictures and you can see a hologram inside the prism.

Combine the Rotolamp and hologram Put the hologram (both the skull and the prism) on top of the Rotolamp.
