Self Opening BitGift

by radconnyc

Published on October 4, 2016

We used a servo arm as the "hand" to open the gift. The gift is the littleBits Starter Kit v0.3. We decorated it with an RGB led, built a remote control, and added a motorized sign that said," Happy Birthday, littleBits!!" Made by an 8 year old girl and a 10 year old boy.

Duration: 40 minutes

How To Make It

Make the Circuit We put the circuit on the mounting board and mounted the board onto the littleBits box.

Mounting the Servo We put tape on the servo and stuck it to the box.

Adding the Wrapping Paper We wrapped the box and Bits in tissue paper, with one side covering the servo arm.
