Strobe Whizzer

Spinning disc & strobe. Don't do this if you suffer from epilepsy or seizures.

How To Make It


Draw a circle on a piece of thin card, approx 3" (8cm) across. Draw a colourful picture inside the circle, then cut it out with scissors.


Use the Blu-Tak to stick the picture to the fan (rotating side)


Assemble the circuit: power -> Pressure sensor -> branch. On one side of the branch add the slide dimmer -> fan. On the other side, do pulse -> wire -> Long LED1 -> Long LED2


Test your circuit by pressing the Pressure Sensor pad. The pulse should be on its fastest setting, adjust with the small screwdriver if needed.


Aim the LEDs at your picture, press the pressure sensor pad and adjust the fan speed with the slide dimmer. Try it in a darkened room for best results.
