Announcing Inaugural React.js NYC Meetup

November 6, 2014

Tuesday, November 11, 2014

We are super excited for the first ever NYC ReactJS meet up, hosted at our littleBits HQ. Organized by our CloudBit team, the inaugural event will open with some short talks by local developers using ReactJS and closed by noted speaker David Nolen (@swannodette). The meetup will be following the JSConf code of conduct.

David Nolen is a Clojure, Javascript & Lisp developer who created Om, a ClojureScript interface to React. Nolen also co-founded Kitchen Table Coders, a weekly workshop in Brooklyn that explores “the craft of creative coding in all its forms.” Nolen served as the Programming Resident Researcher at ITP, focusing on merging analog and digital artistic practice.

React is a JavaScript library for creating user interfaces by Facebook and Instagram. Here at littleBits, React.js is the backbone of our app creation efforts and also the basis for our burgeoning cross-organization UI kit ambitions.

We hope you to see you there! You can signup here to be on the waiting list and get notifications about future meetups:
